Dahlia Tuber Store
Read First: FAQ and T&C
-
Each listing is for one dahlia tuber (a single division) unless clearly noted otherwise. One healthy tuber can grow into a full plant and (typically) produce more tubers by the end of the season. A viable tuber is firm (not hollow/mushy) with a healthy neck/crown connection. Eyes can be tiny or not visible at shipping time—many eyes “wake up” later with warmth and time. Slight cosmetic blemishes can happen and do not necessarily affect viability. Tubers can be all sizes and shapes, but we guarantee the tuber you receive will have a viable eye, neck/crown connection.

We may set limits on certain high-demand varieties to keep things fair. If a limit applies, it will be shown on the product page.
-
If you place multiple orders and they can be safely combined, we may combine them at our discretion. If you’ve paid shipping more than once and we’re able to combine, we’ll refund any extra shipping charges (minus any non-refundable carrier costs, if applicable). (If you prefer not to combine, email us right away.)

We currently ship to [U.S. addresses only]. Some locations may have agricultural restrictions; it’s the customer’s responsibility to know and follow their local/state rules before ordering.
Tubers ship in April when weather and timing are appropriate for shipping and planting. We ship in a batch system and cannot accommodate early-shipping requests.

We guarantee tubers arrive in good condition and we stand behind our stock, but gardening is variable. Dahlias are living products and performance depends on storage, planting depth, soil temperature, watering, pests/disease, and weather. We do not guarantee results in every garden. If you have concerns, contact us—sometimes troubleshooting solves it.
If your tuber order is damaged or missing, please email shannon@casablancaflowerfarm.com within 2 days of the delivery date with:

We take dahlia health very seriously and follow careful sanitation and inspection practices during growing, digging, dividing, and storage. However, no dahlia tuber seller can guarantee tubers are 100% disease-free, especially with regard to viral diseases that may not show visible symptoms at the time of sale.
We actively work to minimize risk by:
Removing and destroying any plants showing obvious signs of gall or severe disease
Practicing clean tool sanitation during division
Maintaining careful field and storage management
Not knowingly selling tubers from symptomatic plants
Even with best practices, latent disease is an industry-wide reality, and this risk is assumed with all dahlia tuber purchases. Due to the nature of dahlia diseases—particularly viruses that may not be detectable at shipping time—we cannot guarantee against viral disease and do not offer refunds for issues that appear later in the growing season.
-
Mislabels are taken seriously. If you believe a variety is incorrect, contact us by Oct 1 with photos of blooms and plant form, plus your order number. We may offer a replacement (if available) or store credit/refund at our discretion.
-
Keep them cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight. Don’t let them freeze or sit in wet conditions.
-
Because tuber inventory is limited and sales move fast, cancellations/changes are limited:
Cancellations: Allowed within 1 week of purchase, minus a restocking/processing fee %.
Changes: We may not be able to add/remove items once orders are processing.
-
Sales tax is applied where required by law based on your shipping address.
-
By purchasing, you agree that Casa Blanca Flower Farm is not responsible for losses due to improper storage/planting, pests, disease, extreme weather, or other conditions outside our control
By placing an order, you agree to the policies above, including shipping timing, claim windows, and our substitution/cancellation rules. Dahlias are living products; natural variation and gardening outcomes are not guaranteed. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the tubers in question (and, where applicable, original shipping cost).
